The above table lists pet insurance quotes we obtained from each provider’s Website on August 1, 2016 and January 28, 2017. Quotes are based on a 6 month old, desexed, female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, residing in postal code 2150 (New South Wales) with an owner who is 60 years old. No discounts or promo codes were applied. (Be sure to check our list of pet insurance coupons and promo codes for a list of current promotions.)

For each plan, we selected accident and illness coverage (typically the middle level of coverage offered) with the lowest annual benefit limit and declined any supplementary benefits. Where choice of excess amount was available, we selected $100.

The premium and benefits offered to you may vary widely based upon your dog’s breed, sex, age, and location, as well as pricing changes or promotions. Prior to purchasing any pet insurance product, you should compare pet insurance plans for your own financial and healthcare needs and carefully review the full terms and conditions, as listed in the product disclosure statement.

[1] A 10% discount was applied as the pet owner was older than 50 years

[2] Different postcodes were used as RACQ only insures those living in QLD
